One day I was walking along the deck of the ship when I heard a loud bang. I started running as I see smoke coming from the far end of the ship. I run towards the room where my patients are waiting for treatment from the doctor. Just as I arrive at the door to their room I hear another bang and I start calling for all the other nurses to see if they know what the loud bang is. All the other nurses run to me because someone is running after all the nurses with a gun I start running to tell all my patients to hide because there is a gunman on the ship that is making all the loud bang that we can hear. We hie under chairs and the bed in the doctor's room, we had a little girl that lost her parents that ran into the doctor's room I looked after her. She was 10 years old girl I had to get her name she was called Yvette she comes from Thailand she had been coming over with her family for a few year now. It had been a while since the loud bang happened I went out to see if he was still there, he was on the died we did not hear a gunshot we saw a soldier standing beside him with a gun he was our hero. Everyone came out we asked all our patients if they where all right, nobody had been shot, everyone was shaken.
Hi there Paris, my name is Billy from the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's nice to see you've completed another set of activities.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed reading your story that you have written about the nurse caught in the middle of the war. I like how you introduced the little girl and also went into a lot of detail about her name and background. I'm glad that the situation ended well for the nurse and all of her patients. I'm not sure what I would do in that situation, I think the nurse did the right thing!
