Summer Learning Journey Week 2 Day 5

Activity 1: VE Day

Who would I invite: My family, Aunty, and cousins, My nana, my grandad, Friends: Alundra, Kaela, Shristi.

What would we do: Have a BQQ and fireworks,
Listen to music


Activity 2:  Making a Fashion Statement

They are quite the same but the woman does not wear gloves anymore. Mens still wear suits.

I like that woman wear hats and men wear suits because they look very Fashionable

What will people be wearing 65 years from now: They would look very pretty


Bonus Activity: Sweet tooth

Trifle recipe:

1-sponge
1 can of Peaches
Custard
Cream
1-Flake
2 tablespoons of icing sugar
2 drops of vanilla essence

Method:

1.Cut the sponge up into cubes palace in a serving bowl. Open the can of peaches and tip the whole can of peaches on top of the sponge.

2. Open the custard and pour on top of sponge and peaches. Put the whole bottle of cream in a mixing bowl put two tablespoons of icing sugar and two drops of vanilla essences. Whip until ready then put it on top of everything in the bowl. Put the flake on top of the Trifle that you have just made.

3. Then enjoy the trifle.

    Thanks for sharing your party plans for the end of the second world war. I like how you wrote out a guest list. I was wondering if you could tell us what sort of food you would serve and cook on the BBQ.

    I've enjoyed reading your comments about fashion from the olden days as well as your comparison to today's fashion. Could you please tell me a bit more about the fashion in the future. What will the men wear? What will the women wear?

    Yum! I had trifle on Christmas Day it was delicious. Ours had a lot of chocolate, strawberries and cake. I ate so much that I think I fell asleep afterwards! You mention that the one you make at home is different to the one in the picture. I was wondering if you could tell me how it was different?
