Activity 2: The right vote
That is not fair that just men were allowed to vote the woman should have an input on what is happening not just men because that is not right.
Bonus Activity: In Flanders fields
I like this poem it is very clear on what has happened. It makes me feel like all of the men and woman that saved our country are great.
Hi there Paris,
ReplyDeleteGood effort on completing another set of activities! That’s lovely that you have chosen the Christchurch Cathedral in your first activity, even though it has been damaged due to the earthquakes; it is still a national monument and always will be. Did you ever visit the Cathedral before the earthquakes?
In your second activity, I thought you wrote your opinion very clearly that you disagree with the fact that women in Saudi Arabia were not allowed to vote until 2015; but I’m very curious to know more on why you think it’s not right. Could you give me examples of why?
With the bonus activity, that’s good that you liked the poem Flanders Fields. It really does express what happened to the ANZAC’s during the war. How did the poem make you feel when you read it? The poem made me feel sad because through reading the poem, lines like “We are the Dead. Short days ago. We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, loved and were loved, and now we lie, in Flanders fields.” which symbolizes the loss of soldiers during the war. But it also makes me proud of the soldiers that fought for our country.
Looking forward to hearing from you and keep up the great work Paris.
Cheers,
Jade F :)
