I have tired making flax at school but i failed, when other make it they make it look really easy. At a St Johns camp i went we made some patterns watch can be made by flaxes. I can say it was easy because we were using paper.
Activity 2:
My best friend Alundra is very very tough and strong. She goes though a lot at home and school, outside school. When her and her boyfriend break, she takes it really well then they end up thinking things through. I am very happy that she is my friend i could ever have. I wish here the best.
Activity 3:
White Baneberry:
The white Baneberry is very toxic so i suggest that if you see one don't eat it. The flowers of a white Baneberry are very small, they only stand up to 6 cm high.

Hi Paris,
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lovely Christmas day yesterday.
I have tried flax weaving too and it is much harder than it looks! I bet you didn't fail - for some things we just need a lot of practice! Flax weaving looks so beautiful when it is done well. I have some harakeke (flax) plants at my house. They have flowers on them at the moment. The birds love them, especially the Tui birds! Have you got any harakeke near your house or your school?
Your friend Alundra sounds amazing. Make sure you tell her how special she is as it sounds like she is having a pretty rough time and your friendship will be very important to her. It can be hard to be strong sometimes when things are difficult in our lives. Being strong can also mean asking for help when you need it. You sound like a good friend to her.
Keep up the awesome work Paris!

Hi Paris,
ReplyDeleteI was just reading the last part of your blog post again (activity 3) - could you say three things that are similar about these plants and three things that are different?
It's also really important to credit your images. If you need help doing this, have a look at this:

I'll read some more of your blog posts now!
