Activity 1: Moana
Moana is a very good movie. Moana tries to save her family and friends on the island. Moana goes out on a journey to put the heart of te fiti back so all of the islands don't die down.
My favorite part of Moana was when Moana and pua went out to the sea and they went underwater and the pig was floating to shore and ran away from the boat because he did not like it anymore.

Activity 2: Country Calander
It would be very interesting to be a farmer and do the jobs they do. Having to get up very very early to do all the job that they need to get done before breakfast. I would not like to be a farmer because there are other things that I would like to when I am older.
Bonus Activity: Singing a different tune
I like the song Havana cover by Conor Maynard it is a sing-off between him and his little sister Anna Maynard. The song is not the normal lyrics is different songs on the back round of Havana.

ReplyDeleteJade F here from the Summer Learning Journey. Well done on completing another set of activities. I thought your description about the film Moana in your first activity was great. You really summed up the plot very well. I’ve got to say, my favourite part of the film was when Moana discovers her ancestors were voyagers by finding the old boats hidden in a cave on the island.
Great effort on writing about your thoughts on a farmer’s job! I agree that I wouldn’t like to be a farmer too. Farming is one of the most hard working jobs in our country and it’s incredible with the amount of work they do and how long their working days are! Personally I’m not a morning person and farmers wake up before sun rise! I would not have the motivation to wake that early every morning.
With your bonus activity, that’s amazing that you like the Havana mash-up by the Maynard siblings. I’ve seen that music video and I really liked it. I’ve been listening to Conor Maynard since he started posting covers on YouTube. It’s awesome to see how far he’s come in his music and that’s so cool that even his sister is a talented singer too! What are some other songs by Conor Maynard that you like? I really like his classic cover of Katy Perry’s ET from 2011!

I also like the Moana movie and I watched it with my family! My sister loved all the songs in the movie so she downloaded all the songs in her phone. Did you like the songs in Moana? I especially liked 'You're Welcome' song.
Yes, it would be interesting but very time consuming and hard to do all the work in the farm. I also agree with the fact that farmers need to get up extra early in the morning to do work. I personally don't like getting up early in the morning because I tend to sleep very late, so it's really hard for me to get up early. I want to become a primary teacher and get a teaching job instead of becoming a farmer... What kind of things would you like to do in the future? I would love to hear more about your dream job :)
Well done for finishing the bonus activity as well! I like the Havana song and I've also listened to it a lot. It's very catchy and it relaxes you. I like to listen to this while going on a road trip!
