Summer Learning Journey 2018-2019 Week 3 Day 4

Activity 1:

L: Lights as bright as the summer sun
I:  Imagine the sun changing to ever different color (but black)
G: Glowing like star in the pretty sky
H: High in the sky
T: To dull, be brighter
S: Show you beauty in all you colors

Activity 2:

The story was about 5 brother they all got wife's but one of the brother did not get a wife, he was very lonely. the men would go out and get food for them and there wife, they did that so they could make a plan about making them starve. They ending up taking them to some place were they turned in to albatross.

Activity 3:

I have picked number one because i always see clouds likes these they are very funny. I see the slinky out of toy story he is my favorite but it not quite like that he looks like a dog with really funny ears. Just because he looks like he wants something to eat because he must be really really hungry he must have not had any food over the past few day or week/ months. He looks really sad.
I will add in the photo of slinky the dog.

  1. Morena Paris,

Well done on completing another Summer Learning Journey post.

Seeing the Southern Lights is something on my bucket list to see, I think they'd be beautiful. Well done on creating a poem, I think gold is a great colour too. I'd love to see you create a 'LIGHTS' poem about the Southern lights. .

I really enjoy reading about the different Māori legends, I think they are really fascinating! The wives in the story were very sneaky weren't they! What Māori legend is your favourite?

I used to love laying out in my backyard as a kid and trying to make out what the clouds look like, do you ever do that? I can see what you mean about the cloud looking like the slinky dog from toy story, that's a great movie.

Remember, if you are going to use images that you have found online, you need to make sure that you attribute them (give credit) to the owner. Check out our guide to posting images here:https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VKjkMGwBrk2YI6Vtmg91OAQljr_T3ZSV6YZtu6MWFNM/edit
