Activity 1: Chasing great

1. McCaw was named as All Blacks captain for the first time for the test against Wales in 2004 aged just 23.

2. Richie McCaw was brought up in North Otago and educated at Otago boys high when he played his rugby at No.8.

3. Richie McCaw leads the All Blacks to 13 victories in 14 tests, with the team winning the Tri-Nations and again achieving the Grand slam.

Summer Learning Journey Week 4 Day 4

Activity 1: Moana

Moana is a very good movie. Moana tries to save her family and friends on the island.  Moana goes out on a journey to put the heart of te fiti back so all of the islands don't die down.

My favorite part of Moana was when Moana and pua went out to the sea and they went underwater and the pig was floating to shore and ran away from the boat because he did not like it anymore.

Activity 2: Country Calander

It would be very interesting to be a farmer and do the jobs they do.  Having to get up very very early to do all the job that they need to get done before breakfast.  I would not like to be a farmer because there are other things that I would like to when I am older.


Bonus Activity:  Singing a different tune

I like the song Havana cover by Conor Maynard it is a sing-off between him and his little sister Anna Maynard. The song is not the normal lyrics is different songs on the back round of Havana.

Activity 1: Mixed-member proportional (MMP)

Who would to partner with: I would partner with my friend Alundra and Alundra's sister Keala. Why would I have Alundra because she is smart and kind she is very good at making decisions that work all the time. I would take Keala because she is very very funny and makes me laugh at school. So  I think we would make a pretty good team.

Activity 2: Migration

I live in Christchurch New Zealand



What tourist come to do:
#1-Go to the beach
#2-Go see penguins at the International Antarctic Centre
#3-Try our food

What do I like about my hometown: That I know where everything is around me.



Bonus Activity: Modern Learning Environments

In the classroom that I designed with two rooms that people can work alone if they want to. their are two big tables to work at with your friends, Their are some beanbag at the right corner of the room for people to work on nice coloured chairs. I had to inculcated a kitchen in the classroom because people love cooking, the floor has a big space for people to work on if they do not want to work at tables. The floor colour a baby blue colour.

Activity 1: Celebrating a win

In my house, we celebrate a birthday or something special we always pick what takeaway we wanted to have for tea. When it comes to my birthday I always have McDonald's on my birthday

Activity 2: Lord of the Rings

What would I do if I got given 300 million dollars:

Buy a house for my family
Go away on a holiday to the Gold Coast
Be nice and buy a smartboard for my brother so he can stop going on about it
Buy me a double bed
Invest my money by buying land to build some house on and then renting them out to people.

Summer Learning Journey Week 3 Day 4

Activity 1: Hairy Maclary

Out of the gate and off for a walk went Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy. Off went Hairy Maclary down to to the riverbank he went, he found a duck stuck in a puddle of mud. Hairy Maclary went to get so help but none of his friends wanted to help him, so he went back to the duck that was stuck in the mud puddle. Hairy Maclary tried everything he could to help the duck out of the puddle, everything he tried he failed at but he never gave up on trying to help the duck. Hairy Maclary picking the duck out of the mud but he got mud on his face. Hairy Maclary turn around to go see if any not just his friends were free but anybody, he went to find someone to help again but everyone was busy doing their own thing, Hairy Maclary walk slowly back to the poor duck in the mud but the duck was not their anymore he was gone he looked everywhere but still no sign of the duck. Later that day the duck was swimming in the pond Hairy Maclary was shocked that the duck was in the pond now, the duck said: "It was only chocolate, not mud I was wrong sorry Hairy Maclary I hope I did not make you mad". Hairy Maclary was ok about everything that happened that day.

I am writing this letter to make a change in our school us students should be able to wear mufti every second week. We would still wear our uniform when we go to public places with the school. If we were to wear mufti every teacher would see what our personality are and that we are all different in our own different ways. So I hope you can change your mind and let us wear mufti every second week.

Activity 1: Meat and three veg

I think the meat and three veg meal is a good rule. Because you are getting red meat and vegetables at the same time.

I do like the rule it is different to what we do now.

Would I like to eat 1950's dinners: It would be nice to try it but I would not eat it all the time because I would get sick of it
